On 1/5/2025, I bought 3 finch birds at $125 each plus $80 for a 2 day shipping cost from the web site martinsexoticbirds.com. I was then contacted via text how to pay/send the $455. The text came from (620)291-5891 and was signed as Assanti Craig. The $455 money was transferred via Zelle to his other phone number (269)876-0373.

I asked for a shipping tracking number. He gave me a fake one: Globalpriorityshipping.net GP-S03080896781806-CARGO. Then I got a text (423-840-1365) form the (supposedly) shipping company asking me for $355.99 more; for a required refundable(?!?) 'insurance' fee. Of course, then I realized that I was being scammed and I did NOT send that extra $355,99 money.

I never received any bird.

I repeatedly asked for a $455 refund but got nothing back ...
