This woman named Mary Olson had posted a website with a 2004 pink Volkswagen beetle convertible for sale for $1400. I was e mailing her about my interest, she said she would ship it to me since she lives in Omaha, NE, I would have 5 days to test drive it and if I did not get the product I ordered, she would refund my money. She then said we would go through facebook marketplace to do the purchase so we are both safe and covered for insurance reasons. I asked for her marketplace link, and she said she took it down because she had multiple people who were interested who had asked her to remove the car from the marketplace. I asked her for the VIN number so I could see how much insurance would cost me. She said she was in the military on base, and did not have the car with her, therefor could not give me the VIN number. I emailed her about being able to go pick up the car to be sure it is a real thing, I have not heard back. I am unsure if this is a true scam, but appears to be one to me.
