The email I received read as follows: "Sorry for the delayed response as I'm glad to inform you that your first assignment will be delivered through UPS/FedEx/USPS today or Tomorrow and make sure to check your mailbox
The payment to be delivered includes your first week pay ($400) and the rest will be used for the purchase of some pre-designed artwork by Monday or Tuesday week as it's still in the evaluation process in order to note and ascertain the necessary pre-designed artwork needed. I'll be returning the 15th of July so we should be able to meet up for a proper interview after my arrival.
Once payment is recieved, proceed to your bank and have it DEPOSITED (deposit can be done via atm or bank mobile app as well). The funds will be made available within 24-48 hours by your bank and email back as soon as you complete the deposit so that you can be fed with more details. I also want you to send me a copy of the deposit receipt to my email for my record/confirmation. Please write back as soon qs possible to confirm you recieved my email and understand the instructions. You can also text me directly (410) 648-4589.
I'll be awaiting your swift responsr so do enjoy your day,
Best regards,
Taylor Bastiste"
After reading this email, i felt a bit suspicious due to the nature of how they wanted to do money, and started looking for scams from that email address, and low and behold.. I found it here. I'm fixing to cut all contact and "formally resign" because I want no part of something that could potentally harm my family.
