"We encourage you on future trades never to make a transaction unless you are sure of the amount which was agreed on. In light of this, the issue will be dismissed. We ask to not report another issue on the trade, as reported issue on an already dismissed trade can result in the account being blocked. You can try to contact your trading partner via the trade window or trade method to see if the issue can be resolved."
MatchPay never once said they would be blocking the other trader and does not have any scam proof procedures in place to stop this scamming. I'm not convinced they own these "trader accounts". There are no fees and supposedly no commission/royalty so how else would the company or the "traders" be motivated to make these transactions other than scamming people out of money?
Also, when I directly requested MatchPay afterwords to delete and destroy all of my account information submitted, their response was "We're sorry to inform that we don't delete accounts with our site; however, we have the option to block an account." So they are keeping my information. They have on their "terms" that inactive accounts will be deleted after 18 months. So, they now have my information for 18 months after I asked them to delete and remove it and I'm not convinced they will delete this after the 18 months.
