They call me from all different numbers from Colorado, my home state, but they sound foreign. I have asked them to stop calling me but they won’t stop. I don’t want to have to change my phone number, I don’t know what to do. They are obviously scammers. They need to be stopped!

I have a phone system (Panasonic) where you can kill the call after just one ring. Any time a call comes in that I don't recognize, it gets killed after one or two rings. Then I call the number to see if the call was legitimate or not. So far today, I've received 7 calls from Maverick Insurance Services made from different numbers and locations all over the country. They even called me from different numbers only 5 minutes apart. I don't answer these scam calls, but they continue. The federal government is going to have to force the phone companies to take action to stop these callers.

I've gotten numerous calls, I have them silenced, I call back, and it's “Maverick insurance”, no one is ever available to take the call, they'll call back, always from a different number. What is up with this c[censored]?

They call me 5-9 times a day from various numbers. The numbers are local and out of state. They ask about my auto and home owners insurance. I have selected on some of their numbers to be removed from their list. I have also asked the people to remove me but they do not. +1 (910) 310-3566, +1 (475) 219-1674, +1 (318) 731-1689, +1 (719) 483-4640, +1 (719) 665-2603, +1 (720) 386-2466, +1 (720) 220-2031, +1 (720) 260-6013, +1 (719) 414-7785, +1 (215) 234-7457, +1 (504) 276-0419, +1 (970) 436-8916 these are some of the numbers.

I understand the frustration. My Company is Maverick Commercial Insurance and we don't solicit or sell insurance to the public nor do we sell private passenger auto insurance, but I get calls all the time from people all over the country very upset and I have to explain that we are not Maverick Insurance.

I have called the Texas Dept of Insurance and they could not do anything and I filed a report with the FCC several months ago and nothing has been done.

I feel the pain.

Same deal ... although the guy said he was calling from EZ Insurance, which appears to have a legit website. After a very brief chat ('cause I love stringing these bozos along), he cursed me out & said I was wasting his time (you called ME, bozo!).I called him back on the # he called on (which was identified as likely SPAM), which identified as Maverick Insurance; I
was amazed it provided a callback # - which of course 'does not work due to a technical glitch.' The guy sounded Indian/Pakistani, I think he said his name was "Mike." Called me on (732) 246-8255; the callback # they gave was (254) 274-7555.

I receive 4-5 calls from the same guy posing as different people. First it's "Mike," then it's "Dylan," and then it's "Alex." I can tell it is the same person. Every phone call that comes through is from a different number and area code.

This thick accent Indian guy kept asking about my Toyota Corolla (which I do not own) but he did know my address which is pretty scary!

He has called 6 times in less than 20 minutes from these area codes:
Houston (281-606-3948)
Copperas Cave, TX (254-278-2014 & 254-278-2013)
Temple, TX (254-277-9959)
Troy TX (254-280-9787)

How do they keep getting these different numbers to show up? I picked up the first Houston number since we have a doctor in Houston but after I spine to him and he tried to transfer me to someone, i hung up!
12/14/22 Maverick insurance keeps calling

If you *67 the phone # before calling back, it hangs up right away. I also tried calling from an unused Google Voice phone number and it went through... to a voice message by Maverick insurance, saying that "no one is available to answer your call" or something like that. Annoying AF!

This is only one of the numerous numbers that come through via a 315 area code. I answered once (I have friends and relatives in that area) and this man, with a heavy accent, asked for me and I said she wasn't available. He said why not? I said she won't speak with anyone she doesn't know. So, why are you calling her? He said because. I said, that's not an answer, why do you want to speak with her. He said I am not telling you. I said, well then you are not speaking with her. He said F you...and I said back atcha. He hung up. I have tried to call the numbers back, from a work phone, and it says that it is Maverick Insurance and due to a technical glitch no one can answer the phone (funny they can call out, and I'm sure run it through a bunch of different numbers). They will call back another time.
I am just letting it go to voice-mail from now on. If it's important, and real, they will leave a message.

I have had multiple calls up to 9 a day from Rosebud, Texas from different numbers. You cannot call the number back and they can only call you. People from other countries answer the phone and try to keep you on the line. So annoying! I had to block 8 different numbers just now.

Representative claims to be from 'Maverick Insurance' wishing to provide me with new insurance rates. I do not do business with any such company , the caller wanted personal information to which I informed him that he was phishing and this was illegal. I also informed him I was on the National Do Not Call registry which also made it illegal to make his un-solicited call...he hung up.

Received a call from 650.871.3196 that came up as "Spam Likely". I answered it, thinking it might be my doctor's office (which also comes up as "Spam Likely") because it was from South San Francisco. A guy, whose name I forgot, stated that he was calling from Maverick Insurance. I said, "okay..." and he asked, "You do have car insurance, don't you?" I just said, "No, I don't, actually." and hung up.

Said his name was "Mike" and he had a thick foreign accent. He said he was calling from Maverick Insurance. There is no Maverick Insurance in my hometown (the number they cloned and called from was a local number in both area code and prefix).
He asked "You do have car insurance don't you?" If they were local and a legitimate car insurance company they would know that car insurance is mandated by law in my state, (Colorado).

They said the same exact thing to me! "You do have car insurance, don't you?" Also had a thick, what sounded like an Indian accent. I don't even have a car right now!

They called my house saying they are from maverick insurance, but my caller ID showed that they were not calling from maverick insurance. My caller ID said that they were calling from Sportsman's Wearhouse in Spokane WA.
