Received a call stating pre approved 5 thousand $ loan. Caller requested personal information bank account and routing#S.S#,birthdate.Caller instructed to purchase 5 hundred dollars wallmart gift card and 3 hundred apple gift card,scammer kept us on speaker phone while transaction took place. Scammer said they would call the following day at 10 am .but call came early scammer stated loan was rejected and wanted additional 5 hundred $. A family member intervened asking questions about loan service,asked scammer to spell out information requested.when varifing scammers# was not reachable,andscammer had given information from Tennessee but phone# was Ca.# called to see if Apple gift cards where redeemed.Apple supervisor was helpful stopped and flagged apple account that was linked to cards that had been purchased. Now trying to work with wallmart on green dot card.

I applied for a loan online and it said I would be contacted by whoever approved me. The people called from a 707 area code. He said I could loan 4000 at a payment of 200 a month for 22 months. I told them I needed to wait a couple days to think it over. I immediately googled the phone number and all the reviews said scam. So I called the number back and said its a no no way I would agree to this. They said I would owe a 550 dollar cancellation but I never signed or agreed to anything. It scared me so I closed my bank account and filed a identity theft report and notified my credit bureau. When this man called he had all my information including my social, address, and drivers license.
