Be aware of this Scammer company.

Hello. I would like to write a few words about the above company that seems like a scam. I have been informed by Maximus Inc. company that some of my information was stolen and that they offered me 2 years protection free of charge. Well I have contacted the company by phone and by email as whenever I called them the person I spoke with seemed sketchy as they were not supposed to require additional sensitive information over the phone just the provided key codes so the online set up should be created. But no, I decided to end the call due High volume scammers those days that will send you email , post office letter as well calls that could look real ,but they are not. Protect yourself. Email contact did also seem sketchy as I thought I would email the company that sent me the letter later telling me that I was supposed to speak with another company named Experian. It looks like the company that sent me the letter is not legit at all. If they do that kind of crap, sending customers to other companies from the main company sensitive information was stolen. I hope if the company is legit they are supposed to contact me and set up everything on their end so there are not gonna be any questions asked as for now I will report this issue into law enforcement companies to save someone else.

I received a letter from a company, alleging to be Maximus, a CMS contractor knows as Maximus Federal Services, Inc. The letter is requesting my SSN, DOB, mailing address, etc. The letter does not provide any phone number, email, or website; only the PO Box. I called the real Maximus, which is an appeal company for people on Medicare to appeal charges on their insurance. The legitimate company informed me that this nothing from their agency, and that this is fraudulent.

I am suspicious of a mailing I received from Maximus Federal Services. P. O. Box 589 Claysburg PA 16625 Phone number 833-919-4749. The mailing states my personal information was compromised on May 30,2023. Name, address phone number, Social Security number. They offer complimentary twenty four month credit monitoring. It mentions CMS Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on the top right of the mailing. I called the phone number. A man answered. I was uncomfortable and hung up.
