I was looking for a job on Indeed, and I was contacted by someone named Marie Carver via email about a job as a Retail Hub assistant for Maxtraks. The person was very convincing, and made the job seem very legit, but it was far from legit. I found out a week into the job, other postings on ScamPulse.com with people saying its a scam, that they will steal your information , and not pay you. I reached out to them, and they could not prove otherwise. I would stay away, as it seems like these people are essentially looking for free work.

I was first emailed from a woman named Noreen with this email: [email protected]. She offered me a full time position with a company called FTE Limited Liability Company. I hadn't even interviewed for it, and she never signed the email or responded to me when I asked how we proceed with an interview. 4 days after she emailed me, I received another email in the same thread but it was from someone else. Her name was Marie Carver. She told me about a position available for Retail Hub Handler. I interviewed for the position and noticed a couple of red flags from there. The interviewer asked me questions very quickly, and did not seem interested in my answers at all and even cut me off at one point saying, "uh huh", and proceeding to ask me another question. They offered the position to me and sent me an offer letter. This was the biggest flag to me. They chose words that seemed shady like, "you will be paid after your probationary period in due time." They also never mentioned anything about a contract type of employment, until it was in the employee agreement. So I decided to google the company, and nothing came up. Not one single thing. Then my boyfriend googled the job title and job scams were the first to come up. The so called company is a third party carrier with products such as apparel, makeup, and electronic devices that they have you open and ship again.
