He asked for card information after reading some "terms" of the "long-term warranty" and tried to get me to pay $187 per month for 6 years. I asked him why I needed to pay additional insurance on top of my current insurance which he just explained how basic insurance works and said it was required and today was the last possible day.
I looked up the numer online and saw verified my suspicion of a scam. I told him I would go get my card, put him on hold then hung up. He tried to call me back from 640-888-6293 which I answered and they were suddenly in a much louder area and then i hung up again. I dialed back and it went to a out of service line.
