Welcome to McCrite Plaza Senior Living!

This interview and employment process will be a chat-2-chat session, just as we are communicating now for your convenience and transparency to extensive details that would be shared, which you can always refer back to when needed. Kindly read through carefully for better understanding. A swift response is required. Understood?

Briefing:
Over the course of the program, you will be paid bi-weekly. It is mandatory you be online via Teams every week day at 9:00am for updates on your daily tasks. You will be working a minimum of 15 hours weekly and a maximum of 40 hours weekly. Working hours are flexible and Saturday's are optional.
The first phase of your training will be centered on your mini-office set up and handling of tasks/assignments which will be done intermittently.
About the office set ups, the company would be making provision of funds to be made available for you via check to make purchase of the home office materials needed.

In the second phase, trainees will imbibe a direct-stringent approach in getting themselves acquainted with their office equipment's. Also will they be assigned special projects to work on.

The training would be administered online, and the base pay is $19 per hour. After training, it is $30 per hour. Training will be ongoing for two weeks.
There are utility funds that are provided to staffs working online on a monthly basis, these funds helps staffs with their minor needs and bills that are involved in the process of performing your duties online. You will be provided with company's full guideline, rules and regulations during your orientation / training so you will be well polished about the company. Working hours are flexible once you have been provided with all your working items.

A pass-code will be generated for you which you will always use as a login to the training. The pass-code is very important to the company so we advise you keep it safe always...

The pass-code will consist of your First name with 4 digits and cannot be changed by you.

An Offer letter will be prepared and We will email it to you before the start of your briefing tomorrow. You are advised that you read carefully and sign at the required areas on the letter and email it back to me so that we can open your file with the company.

To perform your duties effectively, you will be working with some Accounting/ Data entry software to keep record, Employee Training Software, workforce management, quality monitoring, screen pops and Microsoft Office 365. HP laptop, Wireless e-Printer, Scanner, office chair and table and other office stationaries. Also a time tracker to calculate your hours devoted since this is an online work from home.

You will receive a paycheck for the purchase of the working materials, the check will be issued by one of our sponsors and the company will have it sent to you.

Please Note; The reasons why we send you the funds are to ensure a good working relationship between employer and employee, to observe your dedication and how well you follow instructions. Once you receive the check you are to have it deposited into your account. Once the funds are available, you will be referred to a trusted vendor for purchase of the items which will be delivered to your doorstep by the vendor/shipper. Understood?

One of our sponsors issued a check for the purchase of your supplies and it also includes a sign up bonus fee. If your bank offers mobile deposit we can scan and email you the check so you can make the deposit remotely. Do you have mobile deposit?

I said “It is in my spam. This feels suspicious. I would prefer to just be sent the check in the mail for the equipment.

They said “This feels suspicious?

I said “Yes. Most likely because I have never had to print of a check from a spam folder email and deposit it. I am being skeptical and safe per usual.

They said - I understand your concern. And send the check to my address

When I got the check, it was from a weird address that didn’t have the businesses name on it at all and it asked me to send a receipt of deposit to [email protected] or [email protected] red flag

The check, however, was from the name that was emailing me that had the email with the business name in it and the correct address. The amount of the check was $4000. It was a real check that had a heat sensitivity shield on it I did deposit it, but it was pending and that’s where I got mistaken as I didn’t think about it until after I deposited the check.. I called him out that it was a scam and didn’t hear anything back from him so hopefully the money does not enter my account, and I am not part of some sort of theft…
