I was contacted by a representative offering several positions. All I had to do was make a choice and was referred to HR manager via zoom or teams. I was told to use the refence code of LH-HR-047 and say "I AM READY". I was given an email to join of [email protected] as the HR manager email. I joined the zoom meeting, and was told to only communicate via message not video. He then proceeded to give me the history of the company and the description of the job I chose. I was told I would be making 35.89/hr for 40 hours a week. I would also make 18.50/hr for training. He also said all equipment would be paid for by the employer and I would receive a $200 dollar "sign-on bonus". He then proceeded to offer me the position and state I would start 8/15/2023 for training. He then began explaining I would get a *check* for the purchase of all needed office equipment, printer, scanner, laptop, etc and it would be provided by a vendor in the area. He said the *check* was delayed due to an issue with FedEx and that Accounting Officer made the decision in order for me to start on the training date, I would have to have *check* emailed to me front/back and was to be deposited into my account. I obeyed all his directives but never gave in to the *check*
