I feel so stupid. I called the number even though i did't recall doing this, but I had recently accidently signed up for a 2 week trial for something and had gotten charged about a month earlier.
Since I couldn't find an invoice number they had me go to my computer and type a website into my browser to show me how I could get the form to request the refund. I saw a page called "welcome to customer support portal" and was told to click on a team view Icon. They sent me to the next guy to get the refund and he asked what bank the refund needed to go to -- I told them and before I knew it they had that bank page up with my name and all they needed for me to get my refund was for me to give the password.
Of course i didn't do that and then the guy locked up my computer and said that it would take 1 week for me to have my computer released to me again. When i still didn't give him the bank password, he unlocked my computer and erased all my files. I saw them disappear before my eyes. I hung up the phone and turned off the computer and detached from the internet and then started the process to close bank accounts. I actually did loose everything on my computer.
