I moved into mclellan apartments and when I did the inspection I wrote noticeable things on the list. The next day when I moved in I found methamphetamine pipes in drawers trash in the kitchen drawers the a/c wasn't working the stove didn't work there's holes in the ceiling cracks and black rusty stuff all around the wall floors in the bathroom. Long story short apartment wasn't acceptable at all. I called coperate that same day I moved in and left a message for them. I've been in contact with them twice and they told me I can't do anything about it and it's my fault for not checking the apartment thoroughly enough. When the apartment wasn't clean in the first place. They won't write a letter of their response to the situation and also the manager told me that I wouldn't have got my 150 holding back if I wouldn't have took the apartment. I have her recorded on my phone saying the apartment was just swept and mopped. She told me she didn't have housekeeping. I have pictures also. Now theyre saying I can't be let out my lease they're not letting me out. Here's The Catch. The manager didn't put my kids on my lease because she moved us into a one bedroom which is four people. Which is illegal. So she purposely didn't put my children on there and rented an unsanitary place to my children and I. Her response to them not being on the lease was because they're minors. Which I've never heard in my life. Ever apartment I've applied for or lived in my kids had to be on the lease. So these apartments are shady and despicable. They're scam artist and coperate is along with the management skills. They need to be investigated.
