Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was told to cash the check and keep $300. for my salary, then to proceed to with the following tasks:
1. Purchase any item for my use, not using more than $25. Then, upon checkout, make note of the cashiers name, store address, receipt number and other observations.
2.Money Gram Assignment: Find a store that that has Money Grams. Send the remaining balance, minus the transfer fee to: Terry Greye, in Atlanta, GA. Fill in theMoney Gram form with testquestion and answer of my choice in the MINUTES OPTION. Making sure NOT to disclose that I am a MYSTERY SHOPPER. Again, making note of the clerks name, store name and address etc plus the instruction to sent a scanned copy of the receipt with the 8 digit reference number.
Instructions then say to email all answers and reports to: [email protected]
