Type of a scam Online Purchase
For $22,000. Sells from mdw direct center in Beecher City Illinois. Asked for information and they said they would ship vehicle once they received payment of $22,000. I’d have 10 days to inspect and could return at their own expense. Asked if I could see the vehicle as I have family in the area. Was told no. Got a call from a woman who said I’d have to put down payment in vehicle of half $11,000 to hold vehicle but still would not guarantee the vehicle was on-site and if I could verify condition and ownership. Was told via email that it was in Beecher City but I could not verify existence but rather would have to send the $22,000 but would have 10 days to inspect.
Note: retail on an RV (if in condition advertised) is roughly $75-100k.
