I thought this was the phone number to apply for Medicaid. When I looked up the phone number, the scammer's information was the first to come up. They asked me for my card number. I thought this was a change in protocol so I gave them my card number. They made me sign a document in a text. When I did, it wouldn't let me sign because the card wouldn't go through. She kept putting me on hold. When I told her they were trying to charge my card, she hung up on me. Luckily the card didn't go through. But they tried five different times to charge the card. I called today and when I asked a guy about it, he hung up on me

Received phone calls from three different numbers within 5 minutes. Each claiming to be with Medicaid and they had access to extra money that I should be receiving every month. They wanted name, social security number, and my Medicaid number, and my email address. I realized this was a scam and blocked the number.

- Winston Salem, NC, USA

They asked if I had recieved my new Medicaire card and proved their vaility by verifying some of the info on my Medicaire card but asked for my Med. number which I then provided. They then said that as part of my new card that everyone would receive a special back brace belt. I then told them that this sounds like a scam and hung up.

Talking about my friends benefits

I keep getting calls saying they are Medicaid. Always from my area code. Always foreign accent. Always from a call center. As many as 5 a day. This last one I told them to take us off their calling list the caller said he wouldn’t do it, I said you have to, he said no I won’t.

Consumer has been receiving phone calls stating that she or anyone in the house is eligible for free dental/vision/and hearing through medicaid. They claim that they sent off some fliers and that today is the last day to sign up for this offer. But then they start to collect information, including credit card info. Consumer has not provided that information to them as they will not provide any contact information to call them back.

- Federal Way, WA, USA

Multiple calls received over a day from the same unknown caller. Each voicemail about 12 seconds long, doesn’t leave a voicemail every time. Recorded woman’s voice in voicemail claims to be a pain specialist. Which I have never used or attempted to seek aid for.
