- Detroit, MI, USA • Feb 29, 2024

they were acting like they were from medical alert.

They ask fo my age and i was sent to a guy that sounded American,

He had a name and everything.

i give them fake name and addresses.

I tried calling teladoc at 1800teladoc and I accidentally spelled it 1800teledoc. It said it was a medical alert service, she asked if she could hear me I said yes and she said that I won a medical alert device so I hung up.

I received multiple calls from Medical Alert company offering me a medical device. I've asked them several times to remove me from their call list but they keep calling back. They call from a different phone numbers each time they call.

I have been receiving many calls to my home phone number from Medical Alert. We feel this is harassment. This had been going on for a few months. I had three calls this morning from them. It sounds like the same man calling from Medical Alert. He changes his name. Nathan, Tom , Daniel. Sometimes it is a woman. The phone number in my caller ID changes. The calls this morning were from 468-6818. Did not show an area code. He states he is with Medical Alert. We have told him we don't want it. Take us off your calling list. Fifteen minutes later they call back. We don't let them ask for a Social Security number. We hang up.

Got this call which was supposedly from a local number in Hawaii. Caller said " This is a medical alert notification, can you hear me? "

I said "yes".

My mistake. Now what can I do? who should I call?

Not sure if this is legit or not though mighty suspicious. They call several times per week from an odd and "Unavailable Number" which is 262-171-5088 or 262-136-2498. I've spoken with them a few times for my mother. They are selling MEDICAL ALERT systems and they say that is the name of their company out of Orlando, FL. Prices seem ok, $29, $39 or $59 but when I ask if I can call them back they say they are marketers so they will have to call me back. PLUS they are offering $2000 !!!! worth of coupons. If this is true, I'm sure they are coupons one would not use...too good to be true.

I get these calls from 847-275-5282 this time on June 5, 2018. I get many other robocalls from 847-275-***. I use "*" because the area code and prefix stays the same but the last 4 digit constantly change. I put them in my reject call list but they just call again with another new number changing the last 4-digits.

Can this be stopped?!

Received phone call, caller identified himself as Medical Alert Representative and was on a recorded line, then proceeded to ask me if I could hear him. As soon as I said "yes" line went dead. This just happened, so I am not sure of any consequences. Will continue to monitor bank accounts, cable bill, etc as recommended.

Caller said he was from a medical alert company and asked if I could hear him. I unfortunately said “ yes I can”, but then said I wasn’t interested and hung up. Ran the number through white pages and it is marked as high risk/scam

got a call from a robot saying that they where wanting to help me get a free medical alert device for me or my family. When asked several times if I wanted to know about how to get it, I said repeatedly and in varying degrees no to screw off.

when I said yes finally in hopes to talk to a real person and blast them, it hung up. I think I Got hit by the yes scam.

I received a call at 3:10 AM. The call said that my application for a medical alert had been approved and I needed to push one to verify my address. I hung up since it was the middle of the night. I had not made application for a medical alert. The next morning I called the number and it said not in service.

Answered the phone and lady said she was from medical alert (phone was breaking up a bit) she said can you hear me and I said yes then realized it was probably a scam and said no. I will now have to watch bank and credit reporting.
