I have been repeatedly contacted by organizations that identify themselves as representatives of Medicare and or Medicaid.For the past four years ,I have been contacted by phone, mailings,and as sweepstakes organizations. All attempting to get me to sign up for one of their insurance plans that hide behind the guise of “(Medicare/Medicaid)”. In their opening statement.They begin by asking if I have Medicare, and if so do I have part “(A&B)”. Of which I do . And then they follow by attempting to switch myself or whoever, they are trying to employ the (switch and bait ) tactic . By saying ,”( I am going to switch you over to a licensed Medicaid/Medicaid insurance agent)”.!!!

Last year I signed up with one of those insurance plans , because the agent told me that I could receive Dental coverage through Aetna insurance. However, after signing up with that Aetna plan. I found out that Aetna did not provide any needed Dental services within the area that I lived in . Upon finding this out . I called the licensed agent , who no longer was available to me at the number provided. And was then handled by a different agent. After I explained my plight to her ( The agent). She then told me that I could not dissenroll, from the plan because I was not within the enrollment period. And that I would have to stay in a plan that I had no need of , for an additional three months until open enrollment once again became active.So, I was forced to pay for and hold onto a plan that was never able to service me in the first place for three months…

I have been using my “( Veterans Administration)Benefits for my medical all along. And still do.

My teeth have not been serviced . Since. And now being retired , 72 years of age and living alone on my Social Security Benefits. Causes me to live on a very restrictive budget.

The three months of funds which I had to pay has been difficult, and very costly. Sir/Madam; these types of scams being perpetrated on senior citizens under the guise of “(Medicare/Medicaid)”.! Must be stopped.

I hope and pray that the Federal Government, alongside of the Better Business Beaurau, will do all it can to expose, correct and make full restitution to the many thousands of unknowing senior Citizens such as myself .! We trust our Government and do not appreciate the methods of slight of hand, deceit and unfair and unlawful practices . Used by insurance companies across America to rip off our fully earned entitlements.

I pray you offices can investigate and resolve this matter.

Caller said she was a supervisor with Medicaid Medicare with the name *** ***. Heavily accented voice stating I would be receiving a new insurance card that would maximize my benefits in three days. The caller wanted me to verify all my information and I told her I would do so on my company website and that I wasnt comfortable with the phone call and then I hung up before verifying anything.
