Have received multiple calls on my cell requesting to speak with my father. Asking if he has back pain? He may be eligible for a free back brace. In the background you can hear multiple people talking. The man stated his name was "Chris" but had an obvious Indian accent (I close friends and worked with people who are from India and am very familiar). I told him my father is deaf (true & uses caption phone) has no pain, and have advised (click-hung up on me) I have informed them before we are on the do not to call list but keep calling. I'm not sure how they got my cell number for my father as it is only given to medical or legal providers for him. My father lives with me. My father has had 2 extensive back surgeries and I do not think I would be ordering a back brace in this manner. Obvious scam!! And annoying to answer.

A male with an Indian accent called my cell phone from this number asking for my mother. He identified that he was calling from the Medicare Pain Center. He said his name. He said they have all my (he thought I was my mother) information about the back pain I am experiencing. I told him that I wasn't experiencing back pain. He asked "you are not experiencing back or shoulder pain?" During the whole call, I could hear the noise of a call center in the background. I asked him " who are you really?" He said again that he is calling from the Medicare Pain Center. I told him if he has my records he can call my doctor for whatever reason he is calling me, but that I could hear all the voices in the background and this doesn't sound right. It was at this point that he hung up the call.
