some one called my cell phone from this tele number 201-351-7108 stating that I was entitled to genetic testing and free extra medicare benefits.

part A and part B. They checked my doctor's names which they seemed to know???? they read me last 4 digits of a medicare number which I did not confirm.

they seem to know my date of birth. I told them i would not talk with anyone and hung up. I am very nervous about one scam after another.

Please check this number and report Fraud to all who should know.

Received a call from a phone number that came up on caller id listed as wells Fargo. The person was a foreigner who spoke broken english. I could not understand his name. He said he was selling Medicare and wanted me to confirm my personal information, name, dob, address. I did not confirm my information with him, and I told him I did not appreciate him using a wells fargo phone number to contact me. The person hung up on me at that point.

I received a call on Friday 11-19-02021 in the morning from 859-781-2724. I remember something about Medicare and what I can get. I know Medicare don't call like that. He was real nasty at the last, and he said I will just take you off of Medicare, then, real hateful. I just hung up to him, I just listened to him. I said oh sure you will and hung up. He called back to back 859-441-2919 and 859-441-9144. I told him on the second one, stop calling me and then he called me right back on the last number. He had an accent, but it was real strong. I'm sure it was the same person who called me months ago, because he did the same thing, he called me about 3 times, back to back, it was the same voice, he was asking for money.

The caller addresses himself as Medicare & also Medicare Health. I was surprised because I know, they dont call people. So I asked him clearly, if he was calling from Medicare, & he responded he is calling from Medicare Health. I asked again, & he responded he is calling from Medicare. I then asked him, the name of whom he was looking to speak with. He paused, like he was looking it up, & I asked again. I asked the 1st name/whom he wanted to speak with. He said last name only but didn't know the 1st. I stated, that Medicare usually doesnt call, & why he was calling. I said also that am reporting him & both numbers. He then hung up. I also had told him it was wrong person, and that I am at work, on a ladder, but he continued to talk. This person may have been looking for other family member, because I also am a caretaker.

A foreign speaking male contacted me and asked for my medicare card number - said the US medicare card dept was issuing me a new one. Phone number he was using 704-992-6120.

I received a call 15673340093 that with a women's maybe hispanic-sounded accent said, We must check on your Medicare Card and can you verify the numbers, etc., etc, etc. I called the real Medicare people with the number on the back of my card and they verified they don't call people, they mail people. She got pretty argumentative with me when I told her listen lady I don't give numbers to anybody. She knew my last name when I answered. I said you know my name, phone number and address, why don't you mail me, she said know we need to verify the numbers on your card. I told her I needed to find my glasses and wallet and I dialed that number and spoke to them. By the time I got back to her she disappeared, so that was the end of the whole thing. I called the number 15673340093 and no answer.

Multiple telephone calls daily (5-8 per day) claiming to be from medicare. Always from different local numbers. They ask me to verify knee and back pain, or shoulder neck pain. I ask if they are from a medicare employee, "Yes, absolutely, I'm calling to give you your benefits". They have my name and birthdate correct. Yesterday I stated, if they were from SS/medicare they would have my benefit number. Caller then read off my new medicare benefits number as printed on my card. He had it exact. I tried to get more information but he told him privacy laws wouldn't allow him to tell me more. I disconnected. Someone inside SSA, medicare, or medical offices must be selling this information to the scammers.

I received a call on 8-13-2020 around 12:05pm EST from 260-396-8709 male accent maybe asian and he said he was with Medicare and that he needed information from my card because they were going to send out new plastic ones. I gave him all the information on my card, what he definitely wanted was the 11 Medicare numbers on the card. I gave them to him and he said I would be getting a new card, and said I think a supervisor would be calling later to verify it, that someone was going to be calling me. He said this is legitimate, everything is ok that type of talk. He asked me questions, when I was born, who my doctor was, my name, address and all that. I didn't understand why they needed my doctor info.

Caller claimed that all medicare cards were being deactivated and if i didn't verify my personal information in order to get a new card, I would lose my benefits. Problem here is, A.) came across as a "cell phone" on caller-id B.) we don't have Medicare.

Inundated with scammer calls and texts up to ten or more times per day. Scammer would not put me on the do not call list when I was not interested in their scam.

Caller started by saying this is "name" a Medicare specialist, on a recorded line, can you here me OK? I said Yes and they hung up. They have what they wanted which was my voice saying yes.

I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING SOMETHING PHYSICALLY TAXING WHEN THE PHONE RANG. THE WOMAN SAID SHE WAS FROM MEDICARE AND ASKED IF I COULD I HEAR HER. BEING DISTRACTED I REPLIED YES AND SHE HUNG UP. I THEN REMEMBERED SCAMS THAT POSE QUESTIONS TO WHICH YOU REPLY YES AND THAT AFFIRMATION CAN BE USED FOR FRAUDULENT CHARGES. I REGRET ANSWERING.

I received a call last week the week of April 22, 2019 the name came up under Safelink and the name Mary Norres 9287575401. I answered the phone and the first hing she asked me is do I have that paper red, white and blue card. And I said yes. And she said they are going to send out a plastic one and they need my number. And I told her if you are sending out a plastic card, you should have my number. She said go look for it. And I said I don't have it. And she said go look for it, I'll wait it's probably in your purse. And I said yes it probably is, and she kept saying she would wait. Then I told her I am going to call my counselor and find out about this plastic card, and you call me tomorrow, but I knew it was a scam. I was home when she called and didn't answer her anymore. She had a middle eastern accent. That's why I was alarmed because the week prior a middle-eastern guy called me and said I won $11 million and Mercedes Benz and he asked me what color did I want. I said red, and he said I'll be at your house. He knew my address, and he said he would be here at Wednesday at 3:30pm and at that day/time I made sure my daughter and I weren't home.

It was stated in a message that if I didn't call them my medicare coverage would be discontinued.

Received call, picked up because number listed on caller ID was same as on Medicare card. The caller had heavy foreign accent and wanted confirmation that I received my medicare card which I did not verify. Would not identify name, just that he was calling about the card. Wanted to verify information was correct. When I asked what call was about, continued to ask information regarding card. Hung up as I could tell by lack of professionalism, failure to provide name, and fact that government agencies would not ask for personal information over phone believed it was scam. Concern is that the number was spoofed as an actual medicare number on card.

- Passaic, NJ, USA

I got a call on my business phone from a man who said "This is Medicare" and you recently inquired on your Medicare benefits. I'm not old enough for Medicare. I hung up and reported the call to TV and BBB.
