I saw an ad for a job posting. It was a picture of my hometown stating that a new company needed a health administrator. Seeing as that’s what I’m in college for, I was interested. I emailed the “manager” with the link that was provided. I instantly got a reply saying they thought my resume matched their needs. They instructed me to go over to google hangouts to do a job briefing and interview. It seemed legit, but I was still on edge about it all. Then once I answered all the questions I was offered a work from home position at $25/hr for 40 hours a week. I was directed to ”Mr.Benjamin” and told to add him on google hangouts. ”Mr. Benjamin” then told me they would issue a check so I could buy a laptop, office supplies, etc. I then received an official job offer from the company. I looked up the address the provided to me and found a website. The website had no phone number listed and only 2 references to actual people. I did not sign the job offer, and have not contacted them since. This is 100% a scam in my mind and do not want to be caught up in any fraud.
