The scammers contacted me originally through text from 954-300-1356 from Mrs. Laura Juell, Director of Recruitment at Medsurge Healthcare. This number provided a contact for the job at 954-300-1356. They asked that I install Signal Messenger and text 401-266-7724. I did and then a conversation started with Mr. Francis Henderson who text he was from San Diego and the Hiring Manager for MEDSURGE HEALTHCARE. I should have caught the capital letters, but I am presently looking for work so thought it was real. Very professional until the end when after 15 minutes they said I was hired. Then they asked me to purchase specific equipment and that they were sending me an electronic check for me to deposit, plus I was to cash out $200 as a sign-in bonus. I started calling the first number 954-300-1356 - this was a Google Number and then when I called the 401 number through the app, Mr. Henderson became defensive. I told them to cancel all communication with me and to not send me anything, but I did provide the name of my bank, but all of the other information can be found online on Linked or Indeed since my resume is online. I did report them to the FTC, the app Signal Message and to Medsurge Healthcare.
