I received an email from Ms. Ella Chen looking for a project manager for their company Medys S.P.A, and Italian medical equipment leasing company, the email looked OK so I replied with my interest. I was directed to load my resume in their website http://medy-s.com/employment. Soon after, I had Ms Chen scheduling an phone interview, the phone interview was a typical tell me about yourself, no direct experience questions came that relate to me resume. After 10 minutes or less the interview was done. The next day I was emailed by Ms. Chen with the following - "This is in reference to a Project Manager position (Req.# 4812PM/18) at Medys S.P.A. I am reaching out to you regarding the results of the interview you have completed recently. Today I have received an update from the HR Department regarding your application. They have come to a positive decision based on results of the interview held. Please accept my congratulations as
you've been selected above all the other candidates. You will be contacted today by your Regional Manager, Mr. Landon Lloyd who will be guiding you through the month of training program. The email from Mr. Lloyd came shortly after, it had a one month contract where it was explained that there are 30 days of training, for those I will be payed by check or direct deposit $2500. In a quick search I did find an FDA warning letter to Medys S.p.A. in Milano Italy. (The web site states Rome Italy). The address I was given for the new Louisiiana Office - Management company never heard of them. The company website is now under construction. On Jan 8, Regional Manager offered another carrot to procure equipment on behalf of Medys S.p.A.? I was given their bank account information for a JPMorgan Chase branch in Washington state! I was to set up direct payment to my CC from their Bank account. I was unable to do this because I had a zero balance on the CC I was planning on using. Medys S.p.A. continues to try different avenues to keep me on the hook. Hope this helps someone else.
