Same story as last! Held by pet control! "Refundable fee" I don't think so. I LOST $500.00??? don't pay through PayPal is only for friends and family. Use Zell or cashapp. ??

No breeder of birds will have only one each of such a vast variety of species. Also anyone who knows birds knows that they may occasionally love snuggles and pets, but every. single. bird is advertised as having a perfectly loving, snuggly disposition. As if that all wasnt suspicious enough, they have a cockatiel listed for $950. Ain't nobody that dumb. Scam scam scam. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered an eclectus online. I should

have know when I had to pay via zelle or cash to a personal email. He promised I would have the bird the next day. That day was saturday. NO bird NO tracking number. Monday nothing Tuesday I was contacted that the shipping company EMS would deliver at 11:15. We were so excited. I was then contact by EMS to verify my address and tracking number. Shortly after I got a text they were stuck at a “transport” and needed “a refundable fee” of $750 for a climate controlled cage due to covid. I reluctantly sent the money but I’m imagining my poor bird stuck in a cage stressed and scared. They said they would soon be there to deliver to my business. Then I was told it would be 11pm and I would have to wait there. At about 6pm I was promised first thing in the morning. I told them I thought they were scamming me and “I wish it were true”. The person shipping and the owner of Mega Bird Store assured me the bird would be there first thing in the morning. Of course the bird never arrived. I was then contacted by shipping. They needed another $550 for ownership papers. I said I needed a photo of the bird to prove they had him. They said they didn’t have to prove anything only to deliver. I said “ok then do that and I’ll give you cash when you get here”. They told me to go to CVS and buy an American Express gift card. I said no I think this is a scam. All the while the store owner is telling me to send them money and swore he shipped my bird. Every time they asked for more money it was a different email. There is so much more to this crazy ordeal. Needless to say I have yet to get my bird.

Thank you I found the megastore website link and there is so many cute birds and the price is so good is almost a crime not to buy one I was inlove with one already but I started doing research and after a while came across with this post, I’m so sorry you lost so much money to a scam like this and I’m so glad you just saved my walled so much money and bitterness. Thank you so much.
