My 82 year old mother received and ad for a dash camera for the car. The camera was free, she only needed to pay shipping and handling. She received the camera. She has been informed of a pending transaction of $79.99 from her credit card. Look at it closer, she will be charged $358. The credit card company shows the website of www.doorbellsafecamera.com. In looking at their website the charge of $358 is for the purchase of one of every offer the have. The transaction is pending, so she is unable to dispute it. I received an offer to get a dash cam for a special price of $9.99. When I placed the order, I was charged an additional $19.99 for an SD card as well that I did not order. Nowhere on the website was I able to cancel my order or the extra charge or contact anyone. I never received my product and didn’t think about it until today when they tried to charge my bank card another $79.99. I called my bank to dispute the charge they gave me the name and number to the company. I got a representative who I have trouble understanding. I explained to her I was being charge for a product I never received and I also didn’t agree to the extra charges. She informed me that I was also set up for a monthly subscription of $39.99 which none of that was stated in the offer. I told them to refund the money that they charge me because I never got the product and I did not want to be part of a subscription. I am still trying to resolve the matter and get my money back I had to close out my debit card to avoid future charges that I did not approve.
