A "special offer" was advertised for Duct Cleaning on a Facebook Marketplace / Green Bay Buy and Sell group. This is a service I am interested in, so I contacted them. A woman responded via messenger named "Hannah Karnitz" from the Green Bay area, and she set up the appointment with me. I repeatedly asked her what the name of the business was, and eventually she told me "Mejor Duct Cleaning". I also asked the name of the technician who would be helping us, but never got that. After I made the appointment, scheduled in early January 2021, she informed me that if I cancelled, I owed $25, and if I cancelled 48 hours or less in advance, I owed them $50, but it was poorly written- like it may not be the individuals first language- no big deal, but it didn't match up with the woman's online profile. I looked up the business- no website, no mention of them in the Green Bay area during a quick google search of duct cleaners, but I found them on Facebook. At first glance it looked fine, but I saw that the page was managed from Pakistan, which I thought was a little strange, and then upon further inspection of reviews on their page, I saw that all the reviews I found were from Illinois. I then looked closer at Ms Karnitz's facebook profile, as she had friended me, and saw images of a woman with her family, only photos, no comments of her own or comments on her photo, which made me feel like this was not a real person, or a stolen profile. I looked Mejor up on the ScamPulse.com and saw the profile here and a very similar early experience and lack of info recorded in a complaint. I immediately sent a message to them and said I was not comfortable with what I was finding on the business and I did not believe they were legit. I asked for their licensing information if she would like to calm my nerves, and she said, "it's OK. Cancellation charges are paid by zelle", then gave me the email address [email protected], I guess because that is what the zelle account is under (?????). Divine Ducts from IL has even more complaints than Mejor- this is so wierd!!! I told her I was not paying anything until I have proof of licensing or that they are a legitimate business in the state of WI. I haven't heard back from them. We did not pay them anything. Nobody has come to my house, nor will they come into my house if someone shows up in January. I unfriended this person immediately, but "Hannah Karnitz"'s FB page has disappeared as well.

On September 7th I came across a business advertising openings on Facebook for deals on Duct work cleaning. The business is called Mejor Duct Cleaning. They offered different ways to reach them including, email, phone number, WhatsApp messaging and instant messenger. I checked out their Facebook page called Mejor Duct Cleaning and looked at reviews, pictures etc. before making an appointment. It appeared that the reviews were legit so I scheduled an appointment via Messenger. When I received the response, another person was included as a scheduler. The scheduler never reached out to arrange a time with me. Weeks went by and still I hadn't heard from anyone so I reached out to find the time. A day went by with no response so I started looking deeper into the Facebook accounts of the people that were associated with the messenger account. The people who reached out to me were Sandy Glomski and Anna Miller. Sandy Glomski informed me that the cost would be $519. When I started looking into their accounts there were pictures posted with comments from the same people between the two women's accounts. These two also shared the same friends and frequent commenters. I started feeling like this business was sketchy and grew more uncomfortable about them coming into my home. I then called the number listed. A gentlemen answered. I started asking him questions to confirm details around the business. He had a thick accent so I am not certain about the address he gave me. He said they had a "unit" in Appleton but the main business was out of Green Bay. When I asked for the Green Bay address he hesitated and had to look it up. The address he gave me was 2915 Vedt Drive in Green Bay. I was not able to find this address online. Ultimately I cancelled the appointment but I am concerned about the legitimacy of this business and even more so that they have my address and phone number.
