Obvious Scam
Some quick backstory-- I messaged "Melissa" off the FB marketplace. They were looking to sell their 2007 Ford F150 truck. With no way to contact them via FB, I had to send an email. 1st red flag raised.
Right off the bat, they sent a very long blurb about how they were leaving for the military-- yada yada yada. 2nd red flag.
They asked for my name and address so they could have "ebay motors" send me the info. So, I sent them my first and last name as it was already on both my email and FB page, and for the address, I loaded Google Maps, closed my eyes and picked a location at random.
After a day, they emailed me, along with "ebay motors" (see attached screenshots) and their PDF looks semi-legit. The 3rd red flag was raised when you read the PDF and it stated that you must pay in 3 payments, in-person, at any post office.. No post office that I know of will just happen to know what the heck you're talking about it you went in to pay for this!
For a scam, so far they've played things off pretty well (minus those 3 flags). I don't know why they didn't just ask you to send them the payment at this point..
Any who, so I decided to take "Melissa's" email and paste it into Google, along with the images of the vehicle and lo and behold, there are many other posts about the same truck, all at different price points, such as the one in the attachments below. I then went back to FB to find the truck listing to find it has been removed.. Went on to ebay motors to find the truck on their website-- Guess what? There is none!
Long-story short, be careful online folks. Scammers are everywhere and although they are usually quite easy to spot, always do your research so you know for sure what you're getting yourself into.

Hi, sorry for my late reply
My name is Melisa, and I'm emailing you about 2001 Toyota Tacoma with an gasoline engine, automatic transmission and only 94,890 mileage. Never had or need any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, tires and wheels are in great shape as well, electric is working perfectly. The engine 3.4L V6, runs very good and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. Has a clean and clear title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. This car was used by my husband who died 4 month ago. The price was reduced at $1,200 because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell the car before the 20 of the month, when I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country for a year and do not want to store my car. Hate to sell it but its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year. If you are interested I can send you pics.

Hi again,
As I've told you in my first email, I'm in the army with my military medical team and right now I am in a military base. We are training, getting ready for leaving the country. Before leaving I had prearranged the deal with eBay services so my presence isn't necessary. The delivery process will be managed by me. I think I can have it there at your home address within 2-3 working days. It will come with a clear title and reg. You will have 5 days to test and inspect the car prior to making any purchase. During that 5 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to know if you are interested so I can ask eBay to send you the details on this deal. If interested please include in your next email your contact info for eBay (full name, shipping address and phone number), so we can get the ball rolling.
