A very extensive scam, including employee portal login, valid website and business being used. Used employment opportunity with extensive contact, instructions, even an aptitude test with valid questions as pertained to the position offered. Unfortunately no red flags until the issue of office equipment. While having me pay for equipment via Venmo then Apple Gift Card raised flags, everything else has seemed to legitimate that it was passed off as just part of the on-line job experience. Checks were emailed with instructions to deposit via mobile app (now I know that is how they get around fraudulent checks), then pay third party vendor for office equipment via Venmo, then Apple Gift Card.
