I was looking to order a Maine C o o n Kitten. This was the first website that came up off a Google search. I contacted the "seller" and was told the kitten I wanted was $500 for adoption fees and $150 for shipping and handling. I sent the money via Zelle (they would not accept Mastercard as a payment option) and was sent a contract stating it was $650. Shortly after, I received an email stating that I now needed to pay to rent a thermal controlled crate for $1500. This was never stated previously before the $650 was sent. To be honest, I did try to send the money but my bank would not send the funds as it looked like a scam. After several back-and-forth emails, I was given a tracking number. I checked the tracking number and the kitten was to be delivered by 12/22/2024 by 6:00 pm. That did not happen. I checked the meowokittens4homes.org website and the kitten I adopted was still up for adoption. I have now asked for a refund with no answer.
