Now they’re using a new company name, “Halcyon Meridian Health”. Saying they’re offering me the job because they found my résumé on “CareerSite”, which isn’t a job board that I’ve ever heard of. And I write down every job I apply for just to be able to back it up in case I get contacted by a scammer and this job was not on my list. That’s what made me think it was a scam. When I researched, I found these complaints about this site and that was the nail in the coffin for me. Do not click any of the links and do not give them any personal information. Just delete the email and move on. Getting tired of these scammers.

Yes! It is a scam! He is now using the name LUCA KELSALL on Microsoft Teams! Keep an eye out and be careful! Then once you are on teams to “interview” he introduced himself as LIONEL CURIEL. The person that contacted me on text, to tell me about the interview called himself WALTER RANDALL. Their survey actually asks the name of your bank and if your taxes have been filed! What employer would ask that in an interview?! None! I looked up the business name Halcyon Meridian Health Care on New Jersey’s SCC website! No such business! Not listed with the BETTER BUSINESS Bureau either! They never got to the part where they wanted to send me a check! I had the same experience just today November 13, 2023 I was contacted last week on Thursday November 9, 2023 from Ryan Costello from phone number 478-410-6778 stating he saw my resume on LinkedIn and to download Skype to speak with the hiring manager Lionel Curiel. Once I downloaded Skype I finally talked to the Lionel Curiel today and he stared the data entry job would pay $30/hr and I can work full time or part time and equipment would be provided to me. The best step was to fill out the online interview survey at https://forms.gle/nobd9UzCfim2KNQD7. The questions seemed pretty standard as a regular job survey except when it came to the question about what was the name of my bank account and how long have I had my account. I’m so glad I saw this other person’s story before I received any check from them.

I was initially contacted via text message on October 12, 2023, by a person calling themself Ryan Costello. He said he had seen my resume online via CareerSite and that he wanted to set up an interview for me regarding a Data Entry position that I had applied for. From there, he directed me to contact Human Resources at Meridian Healthcare Corporation and contact Mr. Lionel Curiel via Skype to set up the online assessment and interview. On Friday, October 13, 2023, I got Mr. Curiel. From there, he emailed me the online evaluation, and he conducted a brief online interview. He even provided information regarding company benefits and job duties. He even sent me an email link with the Meridians Corp logo and an official offer letter, which I had to sign and email back to them.

The position was a remote, work-from-home position in which they said they would supply the computer equipment needed for the job. On Monday, October 16, 2023, they sent me a request form for the equipment and an official offer letter. Then I got suspicious because he wanted to send me a company check, and from there, I would submit their company check to my bank. And once the check cleared my bank, I could draw the funds out and buy the equipment myself. Against my better judgment, I did make an electronic deposit of the check into my bank account. However, I did contact my bank as well to make them aware of my suspicions. The customer service representative at my bank said that the check looked authentic but that they would put a 7-day hold on the check and advised that I do not attempt to withdraw any of the funds until the check has cleared their deposit system. I notified Lionel Curiel that I had made the electronic deposit but that the bank would hold it for seven business days. He said that was fine and would contact me by Tuesday, October 24, 2023. On Tuesday, I reached out to my bank, enquiring why the funds from the check hadn't cleared, and I was informed that it was a fraudulent check. I contacted Mr. Lionel Curiel and told him he had sent me a fraudulent check. He didn't respond. Then I knew it was all a big and very elaborate SCAM. I sent him a text message in which I cursed him out because now I knew it was all a SCAM and that I would be reporting this incident to the BBC. Since then, it appears that he's taken his identity, which is probably fraudulent as well, off of the SKYPE App.
