Contacted by "Gabriella" at 8:15am and left message - requesting my immediate attention. I should contact them to solve this pending legal matter if not there will be a judgment against me. I called and woman answering the phone sounded exactly like "Gabriella" except identified herself by another name. I gave her my file number and requested her to identify the company she worked for. I confirmed the spelling and she proceeded to say "Merrian Consulting Group, located in MARIOTTA, California" and then transferred to someone else. A male answered the call but failed to identify himself. Again I gave my file number. He proceeded to request the last for digits of my social security. I said no not until I can verify their business and requested their website. He paused and said "well that you can see on the legal correspondence if I didn't act know." He claimed that I had pending legal action against and they would go forward if not settled today. He then said he would give me the website of the attorney representing them and left me on hold.

after several minutes I just hang up. I had confirmed on internet no such website for company exists and no such city (only Marriotta- Titans QB).

words of advice: never give information unless you can first verify company. Legal action will come to you home via legal correspondence for legal office located in your state.
