Booked discount tickets to Aruba for $350+. When they called to confirm reservation, they said because it was discounted, I couldn’t bring a carry item OR check a bag! Even if I paid the check bag fee, I couldn’t check a bag!! Then they said they may be able to “upgrade” the reservation so I could check a bag.. At that point I wanted to cancel the whole thing but they said I couldn’t cancel and I would still be charged the $360+ fee. I was stuck so I asked about the upgrade.. it would cost another $400!!

I agreed as I was stuck and would lose ove $360 anyways..

Then, I got a fraud alert from my credit card company. That made me do more investigating with United airlines directly.

I called best fare back and said I will cancel the whole transaction as United said the cost of the reservation was $565.56 total. The woman from best fare said she would cancel everything but that reservation made through United, if I did it directly, would be over $900!!! I canceled with them anyway and dealt directly with United. Same flights, same days $565.56 AND, I CAN check a bag ($35)! DO NOT USE BEST TICKET FARE !!!! A scam that draws you in by advertising very low fares, and then lies to get more money from you, over and above what the actual airline charges!!

We made a reservation at BestticketFare online line. We provided them with our requested information on flight times and dates. We provided personal information, including Name, address, birth date, and credit card number so that they could issue us the tickets. They quoted us $654.20 for the two tickets and sent us the itinerary via email.

They told us they would be sending us an email with the ticket confirmation within a few hours. After about 8 hours, we called them to give us the airline confirmation because we didn't receive the tickets. They told us to wait to transfer you to an agent. They transferred us to the agent, and the agent explained that these were restricted tickets and that part of the restriction was not being able to check online, there was no carry-on luggage, we couldn't purchase and pay for the luggage in the airport, and there is no seat selection. We told them we were not OK with not checking luggage. The agent said we could move you to the main cabin without restriction, but it would cost 1090 dollars. I said in this case, I accept the restrictions, and please send us the airline confirmation number. They said they would contact Delta Airlines, get their approval, and get back to us within three hours. We contacted them after three hours, and they told us that the agent was talking to Delta to obtain their approval, which would take 12 hours. Now, it is over 24 hours, and we have yet to hear from them. We had to call the credit card company and cancel the card.

This company is an apparent scam, and please warn people of them and our experience. Thank you.

Best Ticket Fare is a scam! Do not purchase flights from them. I bought a flight through them and immediately started receiving weird emails and calls from them that what was purchased is a "restricted" ticket and would not allow me to bing absolutely any baggage or even pay extra to be able to bring baggage. The customer service representatives were disgustingly rude and disrespectful from the beginning and were clearly trying to get me to pay them more to upgrade because they were saying my ticket was only booked as the most basic fare even though when booking it, it was listed as a standard ticket with no specific restrictions. When saying that I would be reaching out directly to the airline to confirm the details they WITHOUT TELLING ME put my reservation on hold and when trying to get the confirmation information from them they did not contact me until the following day and said that the price and ticket was no longer available because they did not book it since they decided to put the reservation on hold without informing me. They said that we were not able to cancel the reservation and basically would have to pay DOUBLE the price for a brand new ticket. This was the absolute most stressful booking experience and was clearly a money grab at every turn. They were clearly irritated anytime I mentioned calling the airline directly to check details. SCAM.

I purchased a plane ticket round-trip from Des Moines to Miami for $400.00 I gave them my credit card. Online. The next day they called me and said that my plane ticket was 60% off and that it did not include any luggage nor carry-on. And I was not given a seat in the main cabin. He stated that he could fix this problem by adding those additional things on for a total of $699. I told him I wanted to cancel and he told me that I could not do that. I said in the United States of America, you have 48 business hours . He said not with our agency and that I was needing to accept that information. I told him you are a scam and I am going to report you to the Better Business Bureau. He keeps trying to call me. I ended up changing my credit card number so that they could not access it , I have no idea from what state or country he was calling from. He was a foreigner. I took photos of the site if needed.

I bought two round trip tickets through bestticketfare.com for $984.62. The next day, I received a phone call from Stefan Smith from Bestticketprice.com stating that the tickets I bought had restrictions. Of course nothing on the website states the restrictions and Stefan even admitted to me that the website does not state the restrictions, nor does the information sent. The restriction is that you cannot bring luggage or carry on luggage with the fare I paid for and I would have to upgrade if I want to bring luggage. (please note: this does not include the check in luggage fee the airline requires). So there is the SCAM.

Unfortunately, I did not look at reviews for bestticketprice.com before purchasing the tickets. I will not make that mistake again. As can be seen on the reviews bestticketprice.com has run this SCAM on many customers

To upgrade I had to pay an additional $578.23 so I could take luggage. I could cancel, but Bestticketfare.com would not refund the $984.62 I already paid.

So I ended up paying $1,562.85 for two round trip tickets which were originally sold to me for $984.62. I would like a refund of $578.23.

Also, Delta Airlines does business with this Bestticketfare.com and sold to them the two round trip tickets for $1,252,82, I have a copy of the receipt. As a consumer, if I purchased the tickets at Delta.com, I would have to pay $1,472.85. I complained both in writing and by phone to Delta. They take no responsibility for doing business with this SCAM Company, Bestticketfare.com. I will put in a complaint through ScamPulse.com on Delta as well.

Please get me a refund of $578.23. I will never do business with Bestticketfare.com or Delta as I don't like being scammed!
