After placing my resume on Indeed.com I was contacted by William Graham regarding several open positions at Metka. After decided which I would best fit I was asked to log into Google Hangouts so that he could furthur discuss the position with me. At the end of the conversation he informed me that I'd need to buy items(desk,laptop, filing cabinets etc) I became suspicious and decided to look the company up here. After doing so, I informed him that I was aware that it was a scam. He insisted that was not and sent the check and attached memo.

I went on Career Builders a long time ago and submitted my resume. I received a text msg this morning requesting that I install the google hangout app to get my interview for an at home position paying $34.50 an hour. The vacant position was for bookkeeping, and several titles of postions. I was interested in any postion working from home but decided to call the ScamPulse.com to decide if this was legitimate. Unfortunately, I was informed it may be a scam so I reported the ph no. recd to the FTC.

I received a text regarding my resume and then was invited go an online interview via Google hang outs. Would not give out any of their company info but only gathered and asked for my address
