I was applying for work through Indeed.com as Human resources and administrative assistant. I applied for a position I thought was through Met life as an Administrative Assistant. I received an email from a Christan Robinson wanting to set up an interview for the position, HE/she wanted an interview through Google Hangouts, so we set the interview, they went through the interview just like a professional interview asking questions and me replying, it was all through messaging. After that a day went by and they offered me the position saying that they will be sending a job offer, w-4, background check, drug screen via email and then via Fed ex. I would be working from home until the office is built in Nashville, Tn. starting pay while training would be 18.00 per hr once training is complete i would advance to 25.50 per hour. My hours would be Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. A Metlife supervisor close to me would be doing my training, i will be receiving software programs through the mail, a Desk, Chair and my choice of Mac Book or Desktop. They kept wanting to meet with me Via Google hangouts every morning at 8am to go over new material, they stated I would get a check to start my office up at home, that it would pay for all my supplies, they wanted me to deposit it via atm deposit at my bank. I received the check yesterday via Fed Ex 01/30/19. The return address on the check was for a John Parsons Asco Power Technologies 325 Welcome Center Blvd, Welcome North Carolina 27374. The name on the check was form KOC Custom cabinets 12938 Lorna St. Garden Grove, CA 92841-5010. The bank on the check is Wells Fargo Bank out of California. The amount of the check was for 3,900 dollars. The letter inside the Fedex envelope was typed by Paul Oates AP/Financial Officer the email address nfoAfinancedepts.com, the envelope was signed by a total different name. I also received the Job Offer via email after persistant bugging on my behalf. When I suggested opening a separate account for the business they were adamant on me not doing that to just put it in my personal account.
