I received a phone call last Saturday March 18th on my landline. I answered the phone because my caller ID showed Metro Health with phone number 216-957-7373. I answered the phone because I use Metro Health. It was not Metro Health. It was a live person. The caller said they were from Medicare. Since I had Medicare I needed to get a new Medicare card because the red , white and blue card would no longer be effective. The new card comes with a lot of free benefits. They asked me for information. They asked for mu ID number on my Medicare red white and blue card. I also gave the effective date of my Medicare A and B. hey caught me off guard. I thought it was Medicare. They also asked the name of my primary doctor. I gave it out. I got inquisitive. I said this is a scam. They told me no. I would not be able to go to the doctor and use my red white and blue card. The caller said his name was Henry Adams. He gave me phone number 415-888-0670 with his ID number A1346. I did not call the number. I said I am hanging up. He kept talking. He said if I hung up I would not have my Medicare benefits. After I hung up I told my daughter and she told me to call Medicare. I have reported this to Medicare. Then I started to get a lot of calls from phone number from an 800 number. I did not write it down. Then I got call from 216-778-7800. They said it was my doctors. office. I hung up. My doctor does not call on Saturday. I had recently been to the doctor so I thouht it was Metro Health. I usually don't answer. The caller impersonated Metro Health, Medicare and my doctor. .
