I was scammed. I want to report it. This has never happened to me before. I received a phone call yesterday on my home phone at 3:42 P.M. My caller ID showed Metro Health 216-691-8674. I answered the call. I use Metro Health. In fact I had called Metro Health earlier in the day. I answered the phone. It was a live person. I asked her me. She said Gwen Thompson. She was calling from Spectrum. The reason for the call is they have been going over their records we see that you are a senior citizen. We are calling Seniors because everything is so expensive. I do have Spectrum We would to like to reduce your bundle package to $162.48. I currently pay $241.86. Phone, internet and TV. It is getting to be too expensive. Gave me confirmation number of 0298627790. I said I use auto pay. I gave my debit card number and three code for Debit card. I also gave my security code for Spectrum. I never give my Social Security number. They asked me for my number. I gave my entire Social Security number. She said $162.48 was good for two years. Expire April 2025. I was on the phone for about twenty minutes. I realized this was a scam after I looked at phone log. Did not take me long. I called Spectrum from the number on the bill. I said I believe I have been scammed. I received a call from Spectrum. If I did not request changes call 855-707-7328. They told me there were no changes to my account. Two phones had been charged to my account. I did not order. I don't know the amount. I called my bank. I am waiting for them to call me back. I will contact Social Security. I got caught up in the moment.
