Target located a 10861 Weyburn utilizes a new AI parking system run by a company called Metropolis.io.

The store advertised "Free Parking" for up to 2 hours

. However the Company Metropolis is still debiting customers credit cards without consent even when they are only in the store for 10-20 minutes.

They demand your information and threaten "enforcement" if you will not provide bank information and a credit card - this seems unlawful and I do not think the business practices are legal in California.

When I reached out for customer service they admit that they changed the rules recently and the signage may not reflect this. They refuse to refund my money or delete my personal identifiable information.

Upon further research I found hundreds of people complaining of the same thing even up to a year later they steal money from customers bank account without consent.

The Metropolis Payments sent a parking ticket for a parking lot in Austin. I was not in Austin, the plate was not associated with a vehicle I own, and I do not recognize the picture of the vehicle. I contacted the local county tax assessor and the plate in question is a cancelled plate in the state of Texas and is not associated with any vehicle or person. The do not answer the phone and it endlessly hangs up. Automated email responses have not helped.
