I entered into a contract to purchase a Siberian kitten from their site. We went back and forth about which kitten I was interested in. Because I live in a different state, the kitten was to be shipped to me - a service that they advertise on their site. Once I sent the funds via my brothers Zelle account (I tried to send from my own, but my bank rejected it because there was a different name associated with the Zelle account - their Zelle email was [email protected]) I was sent a tracking number to a pet shipping site - happypetstransport.com - which is another part of this scheme. I was also given the option to pay via CashApp with id $josephinefin.

After seeing that there was not any tracking updates, I started to become more suspicious and while researching online I started seeing people talking about this same type of scheme. I have since received an email from the fake shipping company demanding an additional $1,495 for "insurance" to be sent to them via Zelle. That email came from [email protected].
