I was instructed by H and R Block to contact The Emerald Card Company, for a second card that was issued after the original card had been issued, in March of this year. I explained while at The Farmers Lane location, in Santa Rosa, County of Sonoma and State of California: The card is in your system, and I need your help locating the card. I attempted to use the last 4 digits of the new card over the phone, as I was instructed to do at the above location, the automated system does not give access to a representative with the 0000 Bypass, on the number with the emerald cards (back of card for customer service). The automated system needs me to enter the last 4 digits that were given over the phone, and at the Farmers Lane Location. The automated system then gives the information that the last 4 digits that were specified by H and R Block, do not connect with my social security number (the last 4 digits of the second card that was issued after the original card, in March), then I was instructed to Bypass the automated system with 0000, and I am instructed to provide my social security card repeatedly without any Bypass to The Emerald Card Company, and The Emerald Card Representatives over the phone. This process indicates that the error is my fault, and, that the negative balance will not be compensated for with a new card. This process indicated that the negative balance will not transfer to a new card, because there is no proof that the card was ever activated or used by another person.
