A Microsoft Windows Technician said the company has been getting automatic errors reports from my computer. I believed that sounded true I agreed to google to send error reports to them while back so I figured Microsoft is the same way as Google. So he went remote on my computer and he scanners it and he said it doesn't have a product key and many of the drivers were not running. The cost would be $803 to fix everything. So I told him I ony had $250 available and he said ok pay yhe other on the 25th of May. Then I googled Microsoft scams for computer product key and drivers and got a page of scams describing the same thing as I was going through so called my credit card company to tell them.

Scammer left a vmail "... for the Microsoft windows license key renewal if you would like to cancel and wanted to get your money refunded back to you please call back on 1-908-741-4671".

Completely false. I don't even have Microsoft windows.

He called to fix my computer or it would no longer be available to use. Are you sitting in front of your computer? Ok.go to windows + R, type in event view & you should get a box then go to administrative view event & see a whole list of errors & warnings. Now go to windows + R type in viewer. Then I said Something doesn't feel right. He raised his voice & tried to assure me he was helping me fix the problem on my computer. I said No there is something not right and I'm hanging up now, goodbye & don't call my number again. He called right back & asked why I hung up in his face without announcing it. I said I did & he said I didn't. Then I said I'm looking up scammers claiming to be tech support right now. He said do you want help with your computer or not and I said No! I started reading what was in the scammer article & he didn't care, he just wanted to fix my computer etc. Then he hung up.
