Type of a scam Online Purchase
When the merchandise did not arrive by the promised date, I called the contact phone number on their web site (which has subsequently been removed from the site). My call was automatically routed to a generic voice mail box. Their recorded message did not even identify themselves by their company name. The message simply said" "The Google subscriber you have called is not available. Please leave a message after the tone."
I have called them multiple times with no response. I have emailed them multiple times, specifically requesting that someone CALL ME. Each time I received the exact same generic email, pasted below:
"Dear customer
Thank you for shopping with our store. Your item has shipped directly from the manufacture. However, they don't provide the tracking number at this moment.
We will update the tracking number (if available) within 72 hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and hope you can forgive us.
Sincerely,
Midas Price Customer Service Team"
