Mind you there were no phone numbers to call for customer service and the support emails that were offered in their marketing/follow-up emails - [email protected] & [email protected] - all bounced back saying the emails do not exist. This got me more worried about the program seeming legit. I finally found an email where someone responded back to me - [email protected] - since this was also part of their program but a separate paid AI portion (I did not sign up for that).
In an email correspondence back and forth for about 2 weeks to over a month, they said they are working on processing and issuing a refund. Then they came back saying the bank is not allowing them to make the refund and that I need to call the bank to ask for a "chargeback" and to show them this email as proof. I called the bank and opened up a claim for this dispute. I got my "chargeback" of $350 after I sent the email correspondence with the Middleman company/AI Hustle, showcasing their statement of a refund in process.
The bank then refunded my account, or so I thought. Almost a month later I find the same charge back on my account because the claim was denied. The bank told me, after I called in to check what happened, that the company denied my refund for not following the refund contractual guidelines.
I asked about the contractural regulations because I never got a copy of the contract or any guidelines stating otherwise. I still, to this day don't have a copy of those materials if there are contracts. I was never emailed a copy nor provided once after payment. I didn't even receive a confirmation email stating receipt of payment. I only received login emails for the dashboard.
Once my bank told me I had to reach out to them for the refund and that they would need to send it to me, the guy from the bank said it looks like this company is being dishonest and lying to you about what they will do for you. They are telling you one thing and following a different protocol on their end. The chargeback that I was told to process with my back, apparently has a stipulation in the "contract" that I am not allowed to do so. I had NO IDEA of this at all - again because I was never given a copy of the contract. Now I am back down having to cover this huge charge that I cant afford because I am not working.
