I messaged Mike Clines in regards to a 12 wk old basenji puppy for $900. I originally stated that I would pick him up late April and he stated that the time frame would not work as he had other families interested. So I said that unfortunately I would have to pass as we weren't plan on driving there til late April 2023. Mike insisted that he would be able to Ship the puppy for $160. So I asked Mike about the process and the fees that would be needed. And he stated that after payment he would go down to the company and get him processed for shipping. Throughout all documents that were signed, no where did it state that there were hidden fees and random insurance policies that were necessary for shipment. Then I get a call from a shipping company with he name " Global Freight Transport" located in Ohio, stating that I need to pay $1500 that was refundable upon the puppy's arrival to me. I refused this payment as Mike would not prove that the puppy was delivered to the shipping company.
