Million Dollar Round Table_IMPOSTER SCAM Reports & Reviews (1)

- Calhoun, GA, USA

A man said his name was Tom Parker, with the MDRT. Said I had a 50,000 Dollar grant from them. I was told I needed to send 1,000 dollars via Apple Pay Gift cards. This was to cover the cost of shipping my package with person to bring I, insurance etc. Later that evening I was told that the IRS was insisting on more insurance and the total would be 3,000 dollars. I did not send any more money. Yet for several weeks I was harassed, berated, lied to and attempts to intimidate. He posed as a friend of mine and when I finally asked a question she would know, he could not answer. I knew then that the link was never from her and he was pretending to be her. I then stopped all contact after he refused to give my money back A real slimeball. My own stupidity, I should have known better. He did attempt to get into my bank account and such but was unsuccessful.
