BS. Don’t do it. Classic certified check scam. Report it to FBI.
I don’t even remember signing up for this — because I do real mystery shopping, I would have known about this. I remember seeing an email from the same chap, don’t know how they got my email address.

Received email from Milton Brewer, Field Operations Manager representing Squint Shopper for mystery shoppers. He send a mailing with the check, which is delivered by priority mail, and there are instructions for the a Service Evaluation Assignment. They sent a letter explaining to deposit the check in the banking account and told to deduct their commission. They are then instructed to purchase Walmart gift cards of varying amounts, so they may “evaluate” the store’s customer service. To prove they performed the task ask to provide the code on the back of the gift cards to the company.

A cashier's check in the amount of $2,390.73 was included in the mail. What alerted me that this was a scam was the fake check printed on plain copy paper. I

Noone sends money out thus way with no proof of work or worker details...This smelled fishy,, like a scammer ... So, I didn't take any action...or give them any information and did not cash the checks from them. I haven't had any contact with him. I plan to shred the info sent to me

This alert me about my suspicious that he could be a scammer ... So, I didn't give them any information and did not cash the checks from them. I haven't had any contact with him. Just was surprised and found it very suspicius... and decided to investigate before taking any action. And here I'm... No big surprise this time.
