I recently put my resume on Indeed and let it be identifiable by companies to also reach out to me. I got a call Wednesday July 3, 2024 stating they got my resume from Indeed. The phone number did not come with a “scam likely” tag so i answered. They laid out job duties almost immediately and i was a bit overwhelmed because i was in the middle traveling so i told them to call back later. I am seeking better employment and due to traveling frustration i didnt think much about it at first.

They called back Friday July 5 at 11:15 am and I spoke with the woman who, again, discussed the job duties immediately and asked me if i was capable of receiving packages at home, and or picking them up at local shippers. This was red flag #1. They asked me a few more questions jobs usually ask during interviews but that was short. I stopped her to ask the company name since one was not given in either introduction. Thats Red flag #2. She said it is PNP Ship “Peel N’ Patch Ship” and they orignated in Europe but are expanding to the US Market. I asked a few questions about the company and as im doing so she emails me their employment contract link with instructions. It was a Bit.ly link so that was the final red flag for me. I did not click the link, instead i began doing research on the company name and found many ither companies with similar names but not the one she provided as well as a couple links from others questioning if this is a scam. Got to the ScamPulse.com and saw another experience that got further than mine with similar information I received. I promptly got off the line, blocked and spammed the email, and began writing this post. I did not provide any personal information (Ssn, Gov. ID etc) but they have my resume from Indeed visible. Good luck, stay safe.

The person said she was in HR and interviewed me over phone with six questions. Later sent me a link to my email and wanted me to take a picture of my government ID’s front and back. Also, wanted me to sign a form.
