I decided to purchase a puppy off of this website and reached out through the website. I asked several times if my money was safe and for proof of legitimacy. They claimed to have been in business for 15 years and had rotating reviews at the bottom of the website page. They even had a separate “company” handling my shipping of the puppy. Everything was going smoothly and I was even able to speak with shipping over the phone. I payed them $700 through zelle. An issue came up that the airport required the puppy to be stored in a thermal crate due to COVID-19z The cheapest rental was another additional $800 but i was guaranteed my money back as soon as the puppy was in my care. I emailed the breeders to see if they were able to cover this sudden cost considering it was refundable and I was promised free shipping. They claimed a customer had dealt with this before and that is when I knew I had been scammed. Why would they have not informed me of a possible additional $800-1700 charge if someone had dealt with this before??? After asking for a refund instead, I stopped getting a response from both companies.
