Okay well ive been searching for a work from home job on indeed and i received a text from this number 567-347-0135. I was told that the number was a hiring secretary for Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America and that there was an opening for a clerical position. Starting pay was $25/hr and i would be sent equipment and a list of software that i needed to get started, along with a check to buy this software. A week later i received a cashiers check in the mail for $3900. I was told to deposit it and get Itunes cards for the macbook that was being shipped along with other equipment. At the time only $200 of the check had been cleared and id heard about scammers so i said that i would wait for the check to fully clear before i proceeded with any purchases. Flashforward to today, tried to login to my banking portal and my account has been closed due to a counterfeit cashiers check. I dont want this to happen to anyone else so im reporting it.
