As I had received similar texts from Verizon before, I clicked the link which took me to a page to "claim your free Apple Ear Buds". Filled out the info and paid the $9.99 "shipping fee" using a seldom-used credit card as it just seemed a bit off. Next day I received an email from MJST, LLC stating the Air Buds have been shipped, complete with a USPS tracking number. I tracked it until it said delivered, but no package had arrived. On 10/20 I emailed MJST, LLC using the contact info on their emails. They responded the same day and told me to contact USPS as it was out of their hands. Having gone through this before with actual missing packages, I decided to leave it alone and call it a $10 loss. Oh well? Not yet...
On 10/27 I received a fraud alert text from the credit card company I used to complete the transaction stating "We declined $109.88 with card ending in XXXX at MJST, LLC". Recognizing the vendor as the same one offering the Air Buds, I contacted the credit card company and confirmed the fraudulent charge, and also disputed the original $9.99 charge as this was now clearly a scam.
Be aware of MJST, LLC, and don't click on anything you're not 100% sure of.

We thought their offering of AirBuds for the shipping fee of $9.99 was too good to be true, so while trying to back out of the site, my wallet (iPhone) auto-filled the info and then the site showed a confirmation of purchase.
My credit card company, who I’ve filed a dispute with, said they couldn’t help me until the transaction was completed. When I called their customer support, I was told this was a subscription and the $9.99 was non-refundable. I was, and still am, shocked because it was literally present as, “take this survey on behalf of AT&T and their service…”
Nothing about it was signing up for a subscription to anything and they have basically stolen $9.99 from us. And now I fear they have our credit card number.
