I saw add on Facebook to purchase a John Deere 270D LS Excavator. So I called the company that had it listed and left a message. They called me back from this number 214-903-4007. I inquired about the Excavator and asked if the second bucket went with it. They said yes. I asked about the freight and they said it would be Three thousand dollars. I looked at the inspection report they supplied and saw parts missing on bucket. So I told them I would only pay $73,000.00 for it. They said they would have to contact owner and see if he would take the offer. An hour later they responded back that the offer would be accepted. I called Janice Barnes to get the address where it was located at, she gave me the address (8216 Moberly Lane, Dallas TX). So l decided to go look at it, with check in hand, to see what it looks like. Also my son went along with me to look at it. Drove to the address they gave me and there was just a building there. No equipment at all. So looked at the , phone and found another address (9410 Hargrove Drive, Unit, Dallas, TX) went to that address and found a car lot. I called the company when I was at the first place and they haven't called me back at all. They did email me a Purchase confirmation and Bill of Sale. On the email it says someone will contact me within 1 business day to walk me through the process of the purchase.

Since when I got back the Facebook has changed about the Excavator to be sold now. She listed some other Excavator under her name and used other name (Mindy Ojoh) but used the same picture.

It did cost us $300+ to go to Texas to find out that it has to be a scam.
